Facebook sketch mentioned in The Age

In an article about social networking our facebook sketch is mentioned. However, of more not is the fact that they describe Elliott and Ben as 'thirtysomethings'.

'Thirtysomethings?' Idiots of Ants have suspected that they have aged badly but 'thirtysomethings'?!

Time to diet, get fit and use anti-ageing cream by the ton in time for Edinburgh 2009.

Bit old this news but it is no less true. In the small hours of Friday 13th March our Facebook sketch was shown on BBC 1. That's right... the first channel.

Thanks for all the messages from those who saw it.

We were very proud.

It's at the Leeds Carriageworks on the 15th and 16th of April at 7:45pm.

Well we got back safe and sound from our mini-tour in Yorkshire and just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who turned out but especially Jon and Lucy for organising it all. Also to Ryan for making it happen.

For those not in the know Picnic is three days of ideas, fun and sensory stimulation in media technology, entertainment, art and science...so it was great to be invited along to perform a sketch and see our Facebook in real life video on a big screen

We were featured in Jane Borden's Edinburgh Festival round-up in last weeks Time Out New York. She gave lots of people little awards and ours was 'Best use of audience'.

That's right Idiots of Ants are the 34th best reason to go to the Edinburgh Festival. Better than the State Ballet of Georgia but not as good as HMS Pinafore. Damn you Gilbert and Sullivan! They haven't written a good Facebook sketch in years!

We finished filming our E4 Funny Cut yesterday. Many thanks to all our friends who were extras throughout the shoot. The director, Ben Taylor, has been watching the rushes and says you look great.

Also thanks to all the production team who've worked so hard during that past view weeks.
